Miranda II was built in 1937 by the Costaguta Shipyard in Italy, a yard renowned for building some of the finest racing yachts. In her early years Miranda II was one of the top boats in the Italian 6 Metre fleet. The current owner found Miranda II in Milan. After a long period of being stored in a shed, she was in a poor state and they had her shipped to a yard in Suffolk, UK for a full restoration.
